Mr. Ranier's book is written for libraries who are
doing programming for adults. It addresses all aspects of the programming
process, from idea to execution, from crafts and entertainment to
film, arts and science. Included are sources of funding, contracts
and agreements, programming to meet the library's mission, and program
evaluation.
In Chapter 5 "Cultural Programs" he has
a section called "The Library Murder Mystery." He gives
a general overview of staging this type of program, then says "Here
are several good starting points for your search for the perfect
murder in your library." He gives 5 companies and websites
and recommends Haley Productions. |
