A large group of friends enjoyed the "Next of Kin" mystery this weekend. We had a blast. We have done multiple mystery dinners in the past but this was the favorite for sure. Everyone loved the use of a narrator instead of having to ad lib everything. Susan, I love the interactive nature of the scripts you have written. It allows the guests to create a part, and interact with the actors. I have found that this is the most successful format in a successful murder mystery. Our guests loved the improvisation of the actors, and was very enthusiastic about getting into the action of things. Matched with wine and food, we had a wonderful time. Our guests were enthralled with the entertainment, and the murder mystery evening was complete with the superb interaction with improvisation and interaction with our guests. We had a blast with the murder mystery! The script was great and we had no problem getting "into the characters". The props worked well...the poison and the blood looked real and the blood came out of my husbands sweater like you said it would! We would recommend your murder mysterys to any group that wanted to have some fun. Everyone was really skeptical at first but it really was a hoot!! The directions were very easy to follow and the script left alot of room to develop your character as much or as little as you wanted to. Thanks again. It will be a great memory of a fun evening! We had looked at several options for presenting a murder mystery at our library. We had even thought of writing our own script. However, once we saw what Susan was able to provide for us, the decision was easily made. It was more than we could have hoped for. Her script allowed us to customize parts of the script to fit our needs and limitations, but also gave us a wonderful plot and colorful characters that we could have never made on our own. In addition to that, the mystery package included all of the graphics, programs, etc. that we needed.
